JO Trolley Grand Opening, Tours Start July 2018 Joseph, OR

Joseph Main StreetWe’re excited to announce the JO Trolley Grand Opening.  It’s a brand new family attraction for Joseph, Oregon.  JO Trolley provides guests with an option of two guided Trolley tours. Each tour ventures through Wallowa County and each features a stop at an amazing canyon overlook. Because of the distance between locations JO Trolley is host to the longest Trolley Tour in the World. The tours will be guided by local Trolley Conductors and will be fully narrated. Tours will feature fun facts and interesting history about the towns of Joseph, Enterprise, and Wallowa County.  Guests will learn a little bit of everything including bits of Nez Perce Native American history, Pioneer history, and Natural history.  One couldn’t ask for a better place to learn about nature.

Because of our location in the heart of nature it’s not uncommon to see wildlife on our tours.  Guests often see mule & white-tailed deer, elk, a variety of birds including many birds of prey, bison, fox, prairie dogs, and lots of farm animals.  The sights will amaze with expansive views of the Wallowa Mountains as well as Idaho’s Seven Devil Mountains, breathtaking canyons, and beautiful county roads.  Guests will see forested areas and beautiful farmland adorned with historic barns.   Guests who take our longer tour, the Buckhorn Springs Tour,  will get to travel through much of the Zumwalt Prairie.

Tour Details

Each of our tours feature a 30 minute stop at a beautiful canyon overlook. These undulating canyons rich with beauty and history are a must see when visiting Wallow County.  Always be sure to bring your camera on a JO Trolley tour.

We will be offering the canyon tours Thursday through Monday.  During our off days Tuesday and Wednesday,  the Trolley will be available for Specialty Trips for various events like Weddings, Parties, and Team Buidling outings.

In conclusion, we look forward to giving our guests a trip to remember. We are excited to have our JO Trolley Grand Opening this Spring/Summer and to serve Wallowa County, we plan to do so as long as possible.
